2nd Quarter-Language

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."

The end of the First Quarter was then then start of our Second Grading Period- newchallenges & adventures. During the Second Quarter, I have already learned the basics of HTML or Hypertex Markup language in our ICT IV. That it contains small markup tags which tells the browser how to display the pages. Tag is the basic coding unit in the HTML System, and W3C is the rule making body of the web. Also, that the most essential Web Standards are the HTML, CSS or Cascading Style Sheet and the XML. The XHTML1.0 is the latest HTML standards which are being used by the 3G Phones. Notepad and Simple Text from the Microsoft Windows and Macintosh respectively, are the HTML editors. Also, there are 2 kinds of tag, the Stand Alone Tag and the Container Tag-which always comes in pair, the start and the end tag. While the element content is the text between the tags.We were also told that an HTML document is composed of a file name and an extension name- htm and exer1.htm is an example. In our TLE IV, we have also done two activities using the Notepad, and had finished one quiz. Learning those things is not that easy. Especially when I was trying to understand the language of my adventure, I also met problems. Like the fact that we only have our ICT IV three times a week, and our teacher was out of the school for one week so our discussion was a little bit delayed eventhough she gave us something to do

Well, they are just simple problems anyway, and I do not need to excel that much effort to solve them because they are natural problems- I can't do anything about it. By just sharing my opinion and thoughts, emotionally speaking, I have already solved them. And I believe frankly telling someone that I hate him and that he's only wasting our time, would be very impractical so I'll just wait for the end of that 'thing'.

Moving on, I can't promise that I will do something to improve my grades but I will try to enjoy every single moment of my remaining days of my high school life and to make ICT IV as colorful as the possibilities it can give me. And I hope too, that the Language it gave me this Second Quarter will continue being developed as I go on with the flow.
