Learnings Outside ICT IV

One of my passions in life is to search for knowledge and so I consider myself blessed for I learn new things from my environment. If I am to tell you all my learnings outside ICT IV, it will take a long time for youto read them. So I just prefer sharing you the most important and the interesting ones. You know, I'm a kind of person who do things not for the sake of recognition but for enjoyment, happiness, pleasure and for knowledge. Our school celebrated the Nutrition Month and during the said celebration, I joined the Food Festival-- and that was a very unforgettable because eventhough I hate cooking, that was the first time that I wore an apron, and sold nutritious foods for money. from that activity, Ilearned to have patient to please our costumers, and that it's nice to try doing the things you hate. During the first day of our class, I was shocked when I found out that some of my classmates were already demoted to the other sections. But I learned to let go of them. I accepted the fact that we are only human-- we're free to dream of having all the things we want, but we cannot make all our dreams come into reality. My former classmates, when they went out, that was also the time that new friends entered my life. And I'm glad having them because they are already one of those who play as my friends and molders in this life. In fulfilling my duties and responsibilities, I had also learned the essence of being a real leader.
But behind these learnings is the fact that I had also encountered many problems. If before I usually sleep at 9:00pm, now that I am in the fourth year high school, I already sleep at midnight. Twenty-four hours a day is not enough for me to accomplish the things I should. there were also times that I was not feeling well, yet I still have to work for my studies. And I consider this as the worst problem I had encountered in my journey of learning.
Having no problems in life would mean abnormal. So everytime I meet problems, I face them. Eventhough sometimes I'm almost giving up. But what are friends for, right? I usually ask their advice and consider them weapons. With this, I believe Ican solve all my problems.
Moving on, I will let my curiousity discover the things beyond knowledge and intellect.

my greatest learnings, problems and promises?

Since we started our regular class under Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, I have learned a lot about Internet. Its definition, that it is a loosely organized global information system of interconnected computer networks. Its uses for the benefit of human, and so with its services and tools- e-mail, Discussion Groups or "newsgroups", Long Distance Computing, Information Publishing and Research, WAIS, World Wide Web, and the Internet Voice. The Internet's Major Components, Data Types, and all about Protocols.
Discussion is not enough for a student to learn. He/she also needs an actual view/ representation of a certain thing. This is the reason why I consider the malfunctioning of the computer or Internet as a problem in learning more about internet. Also, it's a waste of time waiting for the computer to be connected to the internet. Another problem, is that, because of the so many activities in our school, sometimes, we're not able to have our computer class. Ieven missed a quiz which is one of the requirements in computing my grade.
But, in every problem, I believe there is a solution. So, eventhough I really worried about those problems, I did not stop hoping to overcome them, by simply asking for my classmates or teacher's help. Luckily, I or shall Isay we, were able to solve them.
It's not yet the end of my days in my High School life. So, I'm still expecting myself to excel more effort to improve my skills about internet, and to use them in the future. Iwill also try participating in our class actively and make every challenge as a game- to be enjoyed, to fight for, and most of all, to learn the real essence of it.
