Editing our first activity on HTML by adding background color and image is what we did in our Exercise 6 and 7 which are the first two activities for the 3rd grading period. For me, I've applied light blue for my background color and blue hills for the background image.
These activities are easy, yet, I met a problem in doing it because I can't apply the color and image I want to. The colors I wanted were somewhat dark, like brown, so I needed to try on other colors that would fit to my activity. Which, the texts are still visible and easily readable even with the presence of image and color.
But I was able to overcome it because I tried chosing the light colors for my reader's satisfaction. I also asked for the suggestions and recommendations of my classmates to make my activity still nice and clean to see.
Moving on, I will have more explorations about HTML especially adding some simple effects. I will also study harder to have better grade and to add my knowledge about ICT. This is our last school year in high school so I will also try to enjoy studying and learning with my schoolmates. And to prepare myself for another step to make.

b-r-e-a-k.have fun reading it
We, the ISNHS students were given the chance to have our semestrial break inorder for us to give our exhausted bodies, a rest.
On October 24, as a part of our break, we had the BSP School Camporal. Eventhough I was the only girl scout, I really enjoyed the camp because it's nice to mingle with boys and with some of the teachers.
During the camp, we had a lot of fun. Especially when we played the 'improvised basketball' wherein each patrol guarded their ring (a wheel) so the other patrol would not be able to shoot the ball in ours.
And during our last night, we had a campfire and a presentation. We also had our story-telling and talking time before sleeping at night. And the silence of the night was filled with our laughters.
After the camp, I immediately attended the 'Adopt-a-Child' activity being held in the centennial gym on October 26.
On October 28-30, we had a seminar on Campus Journalism. There were lectures, workshops, and other trainings regarding writing.
October 31, November 1 and 2, I did nothing but to rest. Wake-up at 9:00am, eat, watch TV, eat, then sleep. Wake-up again at 1:00pm, have my lunch, have some recreational ativities, eat, then sleep. Wake-up again at 6:00pm, watch, eat, then sleep. The usual things I do when I am inside our house.
I did not go to the cemetery because when my family went there, I was sleeping. And as a matter of fact, I was lazy too.
That was the way I spent the Semestrial Break.

2nd Quarter-Language
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
The end of the First Quarter was then then start of our Second Grading Period- newchallenges & adventures. During the Second Quarter, I have already learned the basics of HTML or Hypertex Markup language in our ICT IV. That it contains small markup tags which tells the browser how to display the pages. Tag is the basic coding unit in the HTML System, and W3C is the rule making body of the web. Also, that the most essential Web Standards are the HTML, CSS or Cascading Style Sheet and the XML. The XHTML1.0 is the latest HTML standards which are being used by the 3G Phones. Notepad and Simple Text from the Microsoft Windows and Macintosh respectively, are the HTML editors. Also, there are 2 kinds of tag, the Stand Alone Tag and the Container Tag-which always comes in pair, the start and the end tag. While the element content is the text between the tags.We were also told that an HTML document is composed of a file name and an extension name- htm and exer1.htm is an example. In our TLE IV, we have also done two activities using the Notepad, and had finished one quiz. Learning those things is not that easy. Especially when I was trying to understand the language of my adventure, I also met problems. Like the fact that we only have our ICT IV three times a week, and our teacher was out of the school for one week so our discussion was a little bit delayed eventhough she gave us something to do
Well, they are just simple problems anyway, and I do not need to excel that much effort to solve them because they are natural problems- I can't do anything about it. By just sharing my opinion and thoughts, emotionally speaking, I have already solved them. And I believe frankly telling someone that I hate him and that he's only wasting our time, would be very impractical so I'll just wait for the end of that 'thing'.
Moving on, I can't promise that I will do something to improve my grades but I will try to enjoy every single moment of my remaining days of my high school life and to make ICT IV as colorful as the possibilities it can give me. And I hope too, that the Language it gave me this Second Quarter will continue being developed as I go on with the flow.

take time.. to memorize..
During these times, I felt uncomfortable thinking that there is something bothering me. Whenever I tried to read my notes, I always fall asleep. And when I woke up, I would fine my notebooks beside me, or sometimes, on the floor (they might had fallen from my bed). Another problem was when I had my PT in the afternoon, I went to school late. Good for me, they did not yet start taking the exam when I reached the room. During the NCAE, my problem was, the examiner in the other room talked loudly and I easily heard his voice because I was seated near the window.

Learnings Outside ICT IV
But behind these learnings is the fact that I had also encountered many problems. If before I usually sleep at 9:00pm, now that I am in the fourth year high school, I already sleep at midnight. Twenty-four hours a day is not enough for me to accomplish the things I should. there were also times that I was not feeling well, yet I still have to work for my studies. And I consider this as the worst problem I had encountered in my journey of learning.
Having no problems in life would mean abnormal. So everytime I meet problems, I face them. Eventhough sometimes I'm almost giving up. But what are friends for, right? I usually ask their advice and consider them weapons. With this, I believe Ican solve all my problems.
Moving on, I will let my curiousity discover the things beyond knowledge and intellect.
